「リトル・チャロ」から英語を学んでいきたいと思います。

アンドーラ！ なんで？

ええ チャロ 見せたいものがあるの
Andorra strokes his head.

次の瞬間 見えたのはトレッドでした！

ドレッドの姿が消えました

リムジンは再び走りだしました

やっぱり私がいないと困るんでしょ
The limo picks up speed.
リムジンはスピードを上げます。
Charo keeps hoping that
the dream he saw is not true.

As soon as Charo gets to New York,
he runs straight to Dread's nest.
ニューヨークに着くとすぐ
チャロは脇目もふらず ドレッドのねぐらへ
Dread, where are you? It's me! Charo!
ドレッド どこ？ ぼくだよ チャロだよ！
Charo! What are you doing here?
チャロ！ なんでここにいるんだ？
Are you okay? You're sick, aren't you?
大丈夫なの？ 病気なんでしょ？
Huh?
はん？
A woman in my dream...she showed me.
You were sick and weak and…
夢に出てきたおばあさんが見せてくれたんだ
トレッドが病気で弱ってたよ
And that's why you came back. Humph...
そんなことで戻ってきたのか
Dread gives out a sigh.
ドレッドは ため息をつきました
Even if I were sick,

もしおれが病気だとしても 帰ってきてどうするんだ

With that, Dread falls asleep.
そう言ってドレッドは眠り込んでしまいました

チャロは少し安心しました

角を曲がり 表のほうにまわりこむと―

The word "food” makes Charo's stomach growl.
「ごはん」と聞いたとたん チャロのおなかがグーグー鳴りました

I suppose Dread is hungry, too.
ドレッドもきっとおなかがすいてるわ
Just then, Rosa comes out.
Charo wags his tail.
そこヘローザが出てきました チャロはしっぽを振ります

ワンワン！
Charo! Good boy.
チャロ！ いい子ね
Gosh, I really hate to leave you guys but....
Wait, let me get you something.
あなたたちを残していくのはつらいけど…
待ってて 何かあげましょうね
Rosa goes in and comes back
with a string of sausages.
ローザは中に入って
つながったソーセージを持ってきました
A goodbye gift for you.
You're gonna be on your own now.
お別れのプレゼントよ これからは自分の力でやっていくの
But remember, stay strong, okay?
Stay...strong!
でも 忘れないで 強く生きるのよ！
Charo has never seen
such delicious-looking sausages.
チャロはこんなにおいしそうなソーセージを見たことがありません
He can't wait to eat them together with Dread.
ドレッドといっしよに食べるのが 待ちきれません
Thanking Rosa from the bottom of his heart,
he starts to drag them back to their nest.
心から感謝しながら ソーセージを引きずって行きました
