He used to be a police dog. He's really smart. I’m sure he will help us.

Sirius is now a watchdog at a bookstore.

Well, you see. I’m shooting a movie in Central Park.
実はね セントラルパークで 映画を撮ってて…
Charo tells Sirius all that has happened.

Rigel, sounds like something he’d do.
You know, he knows hypnosis.
リゲルか… ヤツなら やりかねないな
ヤツは 催眠術が使えるんだ

Well, I heard his trainer talking to Rigel one day.

to be trained as a police dog.
He loved his owner, so he worked really hard
in order to see his owner again.

だから 飼い主に会うために 血のにじむような努力をしていたんだ
Soon he was among the best of the best in New York.
It was then that he somehow gained this strange power.

Yoko said she used to own a dog. His name was Gen.
ヨーコが言ってたんだ 昔 ゲンという犬を飼っていたって

シリウス リゲルが今どこにいるか 知らない？
Probably Penn station.
That is where he said goodbye to his owner.
きっとペンシルベニア駅だ 飼い主と別れた場所だと言っていた
He used to go there whenever he could.
He would just sit there all day, waiting.
昔から少しでも暇があると そこで一日中座って 待っていたんだ

Charo and Tonko run toward Penn Station.

It seems Rigel was Yoko’s dog. And his name was Gen.
調べてきた リゲルは もともとヨーコの飼い犬で そのころの名前はゲンだ

思ったとおりだ
And I found an interesting story about them.
しかも 興味深い事件があった

A thief was threatening Yoko with a knife.
Unafraid, Gen bit the thief’s hand.
The thief ran away, but Gen got cut on his left ear.
ある日 ヨーコが ナイフを持った強盗に襲われた
そのとき ゲンはひるまずにかみついた 強盗は逃げたが―
ゲンは左耳に傷を負った

Yes. He was very brave. The story was in the newspaper.
