リトル・チャロ (40) The Rescue 救世主たち 英語／日本語訳

今回は1月14日PM1:35～1:45と、1月15日AM6:35～6:45放送の
「リトル・チャロ」から英語を学んでいきたいと思います。

あらすじ：これまでのリトル・チャロ
トンコを連れ去ったルドルフの車めがけ チャロがダイブ
しかし 車は横転 炎が上がりました

Rudolph’s car has crashed and flipped over.
Now it is on fire.
And Tonko is trapped, unconscious.
ルドルフの車は横転して 炎に包まれています
そこには 意識を失ったトンコが
Tonko, I’m coming.
トンコ！ 今 助けに行くから！
Charo. it's too dangerous.
チャロ 危ないわ！
But Tonko needs help.
でも トンコが！
No. we can't go in there.
ダメだ！ これじゃ近づけない
The fire’s too hot.
火が強すぎる
No. somebody. Help.
そんな！ …誰か！ 助けて！
Then Charo remembers
something Shota told him long ago.
そのとき チャロの脳裏に 翔太の声がよみがえります
Remember the most important person
in the world to you.
Say that person’s name three times.
世界でいちばん大切な人の名前を
３回唱えてごらん
And then somehow,
the way ahead will be shown to you.
すると 不思議な力が働いて 道が開けるんだよ
Shota. Shota. Shota.
翔太！ 翔太！ …ショータ!!
At that moment.
そのときです
Roaaarrr.
With a mighty roar, a shadow soars
over Charo and his friends.
雄たけびとともに 大きな影が
チャロたちを飛び超えてゆきます
Who is that?
あれは 誰だ？
Regulus.
レグルスだ！
Regulus dives into the fire. And then...
レグルスは炎の中に飛び込み そして…
Rooaaarrr. Rooaaarrr!
Whoa.
おおっ！
Regulus. You did it.
レグルス！ さすが！
Tonko. Tonko.
トンコ！ トンコー！
Oh, thank you all.
みんな ありがとう
Meanwhile, at a hospital across town,
Karen’s surgery has just finished.
そのころ 病院では カレンの手術が終わったところでした
Eight, we're done. Karen is going to be fine.
エイト 終わったよ カレンは大丈夫だ
Bow.
Back at her apartment,
Tomoko sits worried and alone.
一方 アパートでは トモコが１人 心配していました
Oh, Tonko. Where did you go?
トンコ… どこに行っちゃったの？
Arf, arf.
Charo?
チャロ?!
Meep,meep. Meep,meep.
Tonko.
トンコ!!
Meep.
Tonko, you came home.
トンコ 帰って来てくれたのね！
Meep. I’m sorry I scared you.
心配かけて ごめんなさい
Tonko. I learned something important.
You never know how much you want to be
with someone until you are apart.
トンコ 私 よく分かったわ
その人がどれだけ大切かは 離れてみて初めて気付くものだって

That night, Tomoko has another visitor.
It is Ichiro, back from Japan.
その夜 日本から戻ったイチローも
トモコのアパートにやって来ました

話したいことは山ほどあるけど すべてはこのカメラに収めてある

A few days later, it is time to shoot the final scene.
数日後 いよいよラストシーンの撮影です
And cut. That was great.
カットー！ よかったわよ！
No problem here.
こっちもオーケーだ
Okay. And that’s it. We're done filming.
Great job, everybody.
ということは… 撮影はすべて終了！

That’s right. I finally get to see Shota again.

No. Not because you're leaving.
I… it's just such a lovely scene.

Karen is sitting, watching the cast and crew.
少し離れた場所には みんなを見守る カレンの姿がありました

Tonight, we're having a very special dinner.

Karen, are you sure
you don’t want to say goodbye?
カレン 黙って行ってしまって 本当にいいのか？
Are you sure, Karen? Karen? Karen?

Just then, something makes Charo
look over toward Karen and Eight.
そのとき チャロは何かを感じて 振り向きました
Huh? Is that?
ん？ …あれは？
カレン！ カレンだ！
Charo? what is it?
チャロ？ どうしたの？
Arf, arf. Tomoko. Come on.
トモコ 一緒に来て！
Charo. Where are you going?
チャロ？ どこに行くのよ？
Tomoko runs after Charo. And then.
トモコは チャロを追いかけます そして…
Oh, that’s.
あっ あれは…
Ah.
あ… あの…
Arf, arf.
You finished shooting, didn’t you?
Congratulations, dear.

upon Shota, Ichiro, and Charo.
白い雪が 優しく舞い落ちてきました
Charo’s story, like Tomoko’s story,
has a happy ending.
