今回は1月7日PM1:35～1:45と、1月8日AM6:35～6:45放送の
「リトル・チャロ」から英語を学んでいきたいと思います。

トンコとカレンを 必死に捜すトモコ
しかし どこを探しても ２人は見つかりませんでした

outside the impulse circus tent.
Now Charo is sure Tonko is being held inside.
インパルスのテントの外で
ネストルが見つけたのトンコの耳飾り
チャロは トンコが中にいると 確信しました
We have to rescue her.
トンコを助けないと！
Yes, Charo, but it's just the two of us.
Can we really rescue her alone?
分かってる しかし ２人だけで何ができる？

忍び込める隙間がないか探してみる

チャロ… 待ってろ
Charo looks for a way in through the fence.
チャロは フェンスの隙間を探します

あった！ ここなら忍び込めるかも
Hey. Get out of here.
こら！ 勝手に入っちゃダメだ！

But I have to get in somehow.

Meanwhile, Nestor is at the zoo.
そのころ ネストルは動物園にいました

Minelva quickly opens the animal cages.
２人はゴールデン・オールディーズに急ぎました
ミネルバは おりの鍵を次々と開けていきます
Tonko has been kidnapped by the impulse.
トンコがインパルスに誘拐されたんだ！
That’s terrible.
そりゃ大変だ！
We have to help Charo rescue her.
チャロに協力して トンコを助けないと！

I went to his cage. But he was already gone.
鍵を開けようとしたら… もう姿がなかったんだ！
Meanwhile, a familiar figure has just arrived
at the New York airport.
It is Shota’s father, Ichiro.
そのころ ニューヨークの空港に 懐かしい人影がありました

While the friends talk behind the tent,
a police officer is questioning Rudolph.
そのころ テントの正面では
警官がルドルフを尋問していました
You must be the circus master.
We have been getting reports
of the impulse circus kidnapping animals.
サーカスの団長さんですね
インパルスが 動物を誘拐しているとの
通報が相次いでいまして
That… that’s ridiculous.
そんな… たわけたことを！
We have a warrant to search your tent.
捜査令状もあります 調べさせてもらいますよ

Rudolph rushes back inside the tent.
ルドルフは 慌ててテントに戻ります

やめて！ どこに連れて行くのよ！
Charo and his friends see a car speeding off.
裏口から勢いよく走り去る車

Charo. Help me.
チャロ… 助けて！
Tonko is inside the car.
トンコは あの車の中だ！
We’ve got to follow it.
追いかけよう！
With that, the five brave friends dash off.

Charo and his friends are chasing after.

The car is too fast.

We're losing them.
全然追いつかない！
Just then, two shapes dart past the friends.
そのとき ２つの影が 猛スピードで通り過ぎました

Charo, leave it to us.
チャロ ここは俺たちに任せろ
Sirius? And Rigel.
シリウス？ …それに リゲル?!
We’ll show you some real police work.
ニューヨーク警察の力を見せてやる
Sirius and Rigel race up to Rudolph’s car.
シリウスとリゲルは ルドルフの車に迫ります
Wow, Rigel. You must be the fastest dog on the force.
さすが ニューヨーク市警ナンバーワンだな
Only since you retired, Sirius.
お前が引退したからさ
What the?
Dogs? They’ll never catch me.

追いつかれてたまるか！
Rudolph steps on the gas, but.
ルドルフはアクセルを踏み込みます ところが…
That’s strange. The pedal is stuck.
ん？ なんかおかしいぞ アクセルが重い！
Look. He's slowing down.
見ろ！ スピードが落ちたぞ！
We’ve got him now.
しめた 追いつくぞ！
I’m Sonny the super strong chameleon.
怪力サニー様の 力の見せどころだ！
Hey. There is something down there. Why, you little.
ん？ 下に何かいるぞ なんだ このちっこいのは…！
Get out of here.
どこかへ うせろ
Rudolph throws Sonny out the window.
ルドルフは サニーを窓から放り出します
I'll get you.
任せろ！
Sirius catches Sonny.
シリウスが サニーをキャッチします
Thank you.
ありがとう
Rigel, it's up to you.
リゲル あとは頼んだぞ
Rigel runs hard but Rudolph’s car is speeding up.
必死に追いかける リゲル しかしルドルフの車は さらにスピードアップ
No dog is going to catch me.
犬ごときに追いつかれてたまるか！
Drat… I can't do it alone.
クソ… 俺１人じゃ無理だ
Fortunately, Rigel is not alone.
Just then, a police siren blares out
from behind them all.
幸い リゲルは１人ではありません
後ろから パトカーのサイレンの音が 聞こえてきました
Rats. The cops. What the…? Is that an elephant?
まずい！ パトカーだ！ なんだ？ あれは… ゾウだと？
Rudolph swerves left and right.
The police car follows, left and right.
But Libra the elephant stays firmly on top.
ルドルフが ハンドルを左右に切ると パトカーも 左へ右へ
リブラはパトカーの屋根の上で 踏ん張っています
Libra, be careful.
リブラ 気をつけて！
Don’t worry. I can balance on anything...
except for a ball.
任せて バランスをとるのは得意なんだ 玉乗り以外ならね
Just then, a taxi drives by this crazy scene.
Ichiro is inside.
そこへ タクシーが通りかかります 中にはイチローが
What in the world? Animals running through the city.
Driver, follow them.
一体 何事だ？ 動物が街なかを走ってるぞ！
運転手さん 追いかけてくれ！
The police car has finally caught up with Rudolph.
パトカーが ルドルフの車に迫ります
Libra, throw me onto the car.
リブラ 僕をあの車めがけて 投げ飛ばして
What?
何だって?!
Please. I have to help Tonko.
お願い！ トンコを助けるんだ
Okay. You got it.
うん… 分かった
Libra picks Charo up with his trunk
and throws him through the air.
リブラは 長い鼻でチャロをつまみ上げ
ルドルフの車に向けて 投げ飛ばしました
The car flips over and Charo falls off.
車は横転し チャロも放り出されてしまいます
Charo.
チャロー!!
I got you.
俺に任せろ！
Rigel catches Charo.
リゲルが チャロをキャッチ！
Are you okay?
大丈夫か？
Yes, Rigel. Thank you.
うん リゲル ありがとう！
Suddenly, the car bursts into flames.
突然 車から炎が立ちのぼります
Forget the rabbit. I've got to run.
ウサギはあきらめよう とにかく逃げるんだ！
You. fleeze.
待て コラ～!!
Where's Tonko?
トンコは？
She’s trapped.
炎の中だ！
Oh, no. Tonko.
そんな！ トンコー!!
