「リトル・チャロ」から英語を学んでいきたいと思います。

Today, a new actor joins the cast in Central Park.
His name is Orion. He plays an important role in the movie.
今日から 撮影に 新しい仲間が加わります
映画で重要な役を演じる オリオンです
I wonder what he's like.
どんな人か楽しみね
Me, too. I can't wait to meet him.
僕もだよ 早く会いたいなあ
Orion is a friend of yours, right?
オリオンは ヨーコの友達なんだろ？
Yes. we go to the same acting school.
He's quiet and serious, but a very good actor.
ええ 同じ俳優学校に 通っているの
真面目で おとなしいけど 演技は抜群よ
Hey. Watch it. Orion?
ちょっと！ 危ないじゃない！ オリオン？
Hi, all. Sorry I’m late.
やあ お待たせ 諸君
This is Orion?
この人が オリオン？
Tomoko, could you do me a solid?
トモコ １つ頼みがあるんだ
What is it?
何？
This is my dog Rigel.
こいつは 僕のペット リゲルだ
I want him to be in the movie.
リゲルも この映画に出演させてほしい
What? You tell me this now?
え？ そんな今さら…
If he can't be in the movie, you will have to get another actor.
ダメならこの映画 降ろさせてもらうよ
Hold on, Orion. What are you talking about?
ちょっとオリオン 何言ってるの？
Okay. It's deal then.
よし 交渉成立だな

Yoko, he doesn’t seem exactly quiet and serious to me.
ヨーコ アレのどこが 真面目で おとなしいんだ？
I know. He's not usually like this.
There's something different about him today.
彼 いつもは ああじゃないんだけど… 今日は何か おかしいわ
Nice to meet you, Rigel. I’m Charo.
よろしくね リゲル 僕はチャロ
And so the filming begins again.
But things are very different with Orion on the set.
こうして 撮影が始まりました
しかし オリオンが加わったことで 様子が一変してしまいます
Cut. Okay. Good job, Yoko.
カットー！ OK よかったわよ ヨーコ！
Wait a minute, Tomoko. I didn’t feel it.
待てくれ トモコ 今のは納得できないな
Feel what?
何が納得いかないのよ？
Your acting. And the camera angle wasn’t great, either.
君の演技だ カメラのアングルもよくない
Say what?
何だと？
Let's do it again.
もう一度 取り直すんだ
Say what?
何言ってるんだ?!
Orion, you're out of line.
オリオン いい加減にしなさいよ！
Yoko, take it easy.
ヨーコ 落ち着いて
The filming goes much slower with Orion on board.
オリオンが入ってから なかなか思うように 撮影は進みません
And that’s not all.
そして それだけでなく…
Here’s the next scene.
次のシーンの確認をするわよ
It's Charo’s birthday. Yoko is hurry home.
But as she crosses the street, Orion runs into her with his car.
Yoko isn’t hurt badly, but she loses her memory from the shock. Okay?
チャロの誕生日という設定で ヨーコは帰りを急いでいた
ところが 通りを渡るとき オリオンの車に はねられる
ヨーコに大したケガはなかったけど ショックで記憶を失う OK?
Okay by me. But you’ll have to ask the boss, Orion.
私はOKよ でも 決めるのはオリオンなんでしょ
Yoko.
ヨーコ！
It's fine.
問題ない
It's a dangerous scene, so you two, concentrate.
危険なシーンなのよ 2人とも 気を引き締めてね
The cast and crew focus and the shooting begins.
真剣な役者とスタッフたち いよいよ撮影が始まります
Ready. Action.
よ～い… アクション！
Cut. Perfect.
カットー！ 完璧よ！
Yoko, that was great.
ヨーコ いいぞ！
We got it.
こっちも ばっちりだ!!
Yoko. That was amazing.
Yoko?
ヨーコ！ すごかったね！
ヨーコ？
Charo, what's the matter?
チャロ どうかしたの？
Yoko won’t wake up.
ヨーコが目を覚まさないよ！
Yoko? Yoko? You can stop acting now.
ヨーコ？ ヨーコ？ もう演技はしなくていいんだよ
Is she unconscious? But the car didn’t really hit her.
意識がない？ でも… 本当にぶつかったわけじゃないのに…
Yoko, wake up. Yoko!
ヨーコ 目を覚まして！ ヨーコ！
A Special Power 約束 英語／日本語訳
Yoko fell down unconscious while filming.
Now she is in the hospital, but she still does not wake up.
撮影中に 気を失って倒れたヨーコ
病院に運ばれましたが 意識不明のままです
Hmm.
Doctor, how is she?
先生 ヨーコの容体は？
Well… there is nothing wrong with her.
それが… どこも悪くないんだよ

As far as we can tell, she did not hit her head.
And she’s very healthy.
There's no reason for her to be unconscious.
見た限り 頭をぶつけた様子もない 体も健康そのもの
なぜ意識が戻らないのか 分からないよ

We’ll just have to wait and watch.

On the next day, the crew gather at Tomoko’s apartment to talk.
翌日 スタッフはトモコの家に集まりました
What are we going to do?
We can't keep filming without Yoko.
どうするんだい？ ヨーコがいないと 撮影が進まないぜ
First we have to find out what happened to her.
まずは 何が起こったか 調べないと

そうだ！ あのシーンのテープを見直してみよう

Oh. It's clear the car doesn’t hit her.
ほら どう見ても 車は当たってないよ

Good question. I haven’t seen him since the accident.
確かにそうだ あの事故のあと 見かけないな
It was hypnosis.
あれは催眠術だよ

He is always so mean to Yoko. He must hate her.

I have read that hate can give a person special powers.
憎しみは 特殊な力を引き出すと 本に書いてあった
Look, let's just go to Orion’s apartment.

Charo and the crew rush to Orion’s apartment.
But when they get there.
チャロとスタッフたちは オリオンの家へ急ぎました
ところが いざ着いてみると…

あ… トモコじゃないか
Orion, I need to ask you something.
オリオン あなたに聞きたいことがあるの
I need to ask you something, too.
Do you know what happened to me the last couple of days?
僕もだよ この数日 僕は何をやっていたんだい？
What?
え？
What are you talking about?
What did you do to Yoko?
何を言ってるんだ?!
お前がヨーコに何かしたんだろっ?!
Yoko? Is something wrong with Yoko?
ヨーコ？ ヨーコに何かあったのか？
Don’t play dumb.
とぼけるな！
I’m not. I don’t remember anything.
It's like I've been under hypnosis.
とぼけてなんかない！ まったく覚えていないんだ
催眠術に かかっていた気分だ
It wasn’t Orion? What's going on?
犯人はオリオンじゃないの？ どういうこと？
I don’t know.

Orion is not guilty. He is a victim, too.
オリオンは無罪 彼も被害者というわけか
Look. When I woke up, there was this big doghouse here.
見てくれ 目覚めたら 部屋に こんな犬小屋が！
That must be Rigel’s doghouse. He's your dog, right?
リゲルの小屋じゃないの？ あなたのペットでしょ？
Rigel? Who’s Rigel? I have never even had a dog.
リゲル？ 誰のことだい？ 僕は犬なんて飼ったことないよ
What is going on?
どういうこと？
It was Rigel who did it.
真犯人はリゲルよ！
Rigel?
リゲル？
It has to be him. We have to find him.
絶対そうよ リゲルを見つけなきゃ
Okay. But where is he?
うん でも どこにいるんだろう？
If you want to know where Rigel is, you should talk to Sirius.
リゲルの居場所は シリウスという犬に聞けば 分かる
Sirius? You mean.

Charo remembers a special friend from long ago.
