あらすじ：これまでのリトル・チャロ
キャンディの飼い主クリスが、重い病気で入院。
チャロはキャンディを励ますため、ドッグショーに行く約束をします。

One Sunday morning,
a dog show is to be held in the park.
Charo looks around and finds Candy.
日曜日の朝 公園でドッグショーが開かれる日です

やあ キャンディ！ 犬がいっぱい！ でも優勝できるよ！

Then comes Aunt Charlotte.

Now why don't we get ready for the show?
First of all, we need to get rid of this.

the ribbon from Candy's ear.

Charo has lost sight of the ribbon.
He has no idea where it went.

Then, all of a sudden...
すると突然…

Could you help me out?
やあ ワンちゃん ちょっと助けてくんない？
This thing! It got me while I was flying!

助けてくれー！
That's my friend's ribbon!
I was looking for it.
それ 友だちのリボンだよ！ 捜してたんだ
Whatever it is,
it's tied up around my legs.
Just let me go, and you can have it, take it, keep it.
Hmmm.... Isn't that nice of me?
なんでもいいけど 足にからまっちゃって

Charo hurries back to the park.
The competition is already finished.
チャロが急いで公園に戻ると ドッグショーは もう終わっていました
Seeing Charo, Candy jumps down
and runs up to him.
チャロに気づくと キャンディは飛び降りて 走ってきました
You found my ribbon!

どういたしまして ドッグショー 勝ったの？
Not the first prize,
but they're giving me an award anyway.
優勝じゃなかったけど なんか賞をくれるみたい

賞はどうでもいいの とにかくリボンを 見つけてくれて ありがとう
The two then hurry to Chris's hospital.
They are lucky! Chris has just come out for his daily walk.

Charo is walking inside Rosa's restaurant,
when suddenly, somebody picks him up!

the other day.

Tomoko tries to take off the red star
from Charo's collar.
トモコが チャロの首から 星を取ろうとすると…

While stroking Charo gently, Tomoko notices
the lucky charm that Shota's grandma gave him.
チャロをなでているうちに― トモコは

Charo... This must be his name.

What does it mean?
どういう意味？
Ichi-ro is "the road"
and hei-an means "peace and safety."
All together it wishes for a safe trip.
イチロは「道」で ヘイアンは「平和と安全」
あわせて 旅の安全を祈る言葉ね
Beautiful. So, Tomoko,
do you wear any of these lucky charms?
キレイな響きだね きみも こんなお守りをつけたりするの？
Not anything traditional...
but for me, the red star pendant was
supposed to be for good luck.
ううん 昔ながらのお守りはつけないけど―

His latest musical is titled The Red Star.
