伝説の八ツ星の札を集める旅に出たのだった

チャロは秋田の男鹿三山に お札を求めて やって来た

でも満月の夜に 雪女にお札をかざすと 消えてしまうらしい

Suddenly, Charo hears a child crying.
突然 子どもの泣き声が チャロの耳に届いた

It happened again? There we're five candies here a minutes ago.
また足りなくなったの？ さっきまで確かに５つあったのに
The five of us took just one each. But we're still one short.
おいらたちは１つずつ取っただけだよ なのに１つ足りないんだ
Ahh, the Zashiki Warashi is at it again.
うーん また座敷わらしが出たか？

There, a quiet battle goes on.
Terrible creatures are awaking
and one priest fights to hold them back.
そこでは眠りから目覚めようとする魔物と
それを食い止める僧侶との 戦いが始まっていた
The priest chants a magic spell
to keep evil creatures within a vessel.
But the things are trying to escape.

This is the story of a little dog named Charo.
Charo has come to this peaceful place with shota,
his owner. The two are best friends, always together.
この物語の主人公は子犬のチャロ
チャロは飼い主の翔太と 遠野に来ていた
２人はいつも一緒 大の仲良し
It's so pretty here.
きれいだなあ…
Charo, you must be hungry.
Wow. Looks great. There's a sausage for you.
チャロも お腹がすいたんだね？

Suddenly, a strong wind swirls around the two.
突然 強い風が２人を包んだ

A strange creature appears
and disappears into the forest.
不思議な生き物が 森の奥へと駆け込んでいった
Curious, Charo follows the creature.
チャロは誘われるように そのあとを追いかけた

Charo leaves the forest and enters a different world,
a mysterious world.
森を抜け チャロは不思議な世界へと迷い込んだ

Who’s that? What's he doing? Eh!
誰？ 何してるんだろう…？ えいっ！
Master Ku. I’m back, sir.
クウ様！ ただいま戻りました
Ah, taka. Have you brought the talismans with you?
おお タカか 札を持って来たか？
Yes. Right here. I've got all eight.
はい ここに ８枚そろいました
Well, done, Taka. You truly are a very special Tengu.
With these, we can contain the Tenaga-Ashinaga in the vessel.
でかしたぞ 天狗の中でもお前は特別だ
これで手長足長を封じることができる
Yes. We are finally ready, Master Ku.
はい… いよいよですね クウ様
Now come, quickly.

Tenaga…Ashinaga? What in the world?
手長… 足長…？ 一体何のことだろう？
Master Ku begins to chant once more,
then throws the talismans into the air.
クウは再び呪文を唱え 札を宙に放った
What's happening?
どうなってるの？
Frightened, Charo backs up. But then.
チャロは思わず後ずさりした すると…
Ah! My tail. I’m stuck.
あっ！ しっぽが… 動けないよ！
Oh, Master Ku, the sacred circle.
ああ！ クウ様 結界が！
No.
何と！
Ah.
On, no. Look at what happened to all the talismans.
あぁ！ せっかく集めたお札が！
This must not be.
Look. Taka. The creatures’ power has started to return.
何てことだ！
しまった タカ！ つぼの妖力が復活し始めたぞ！
No. Master Ku, quick, the spell.
ええっ？ クウ様！ 早く呪文を！！
Master Ku begins to chant again.
クウは再び呪文を唱え始めた
Suddenly, the vessel cracks.
From inside, one of the terrible creatures emerges.
It is the Tenaga.
しかし つぼにひびが入り ついに魔物の片割れ 手長が姿を現した
Hey, get back in the vessel.
ええい！ つぼに戻れ！
Taka, it's dangerous.
タカ 危ない！
Take this, you.
これでも食らえー！
Taka attacks with everything he has.
But it is no use.
タカは こん身の一撃を加えた
しかし効果はなかった
Drats. Blast it. It didn’t work.
くそう！ ちっとも効いていない！
The Tenaga strikes Taka
and disappears into the forest.
手長はタカに一撃を加え 森の奥に消え去った
It got away.
逃がしたか！
No. Now, if the Ashinaga comes out as well,
we will all be ruined.
いかん！ 足長も出てしまうと 大変なことになる！

For the world’s sake, you cannot join the Tenaga.

That thing that just escaped is the Tenaga,
one of the legendary creatures of Tenaga-Ashinaga.
今逃げたのは 伝説の妖怪 手長足長の片割れ 手長だぞ
Creatures? Tenaga-Ashinaga?
妖怪？ 手長足長？
The Tenaga-Ashinaga lived in the mountains of Tohoku
long, long ago. When joined together,
the two would run wild, creating mischief.
They caused much trouble for the villagers nearby.
手長足長は 東北の山々に現れたという伝説の妖怪
２匹はともに暴れ 悪さをし ふもとの住民は大変 困っていた
One day, a legendary priest trapped the Tenaga-Ashinaga
in a vessel, bringing peace to the area.
Yet, now, many, many years later,
the magic spell that sealed the vessel has weakened.
あるとき 高名な僧侶が２匹をつぼに封じ込め
以来 この地に平穏な時が訪れた
ところが 長い年月を経て つぼを封じる力が弱まっていたのだった
Listen. If the Ashinaga escapes, too...
we're in big trouble.
いいか… 足長までつぼから出てしまうと 大変なことになる

When those two join together,
they trick people and mess up the world.
あの２匹が合体したら 人の心を惑わし 世が乱れる

and reseal the vessel before the Ashinaga gets out.

Libra picks Charo up with his trunk
and throws him through the air.

On the flier, there is a picture of a rabbit,
a rabbit that looks very familiar.
そこには チャロがよく知っている ウサギの写真が載っています

しかし 名前が違うぞ
